People Want To Be Heard with Zina Ortiz

Zina Ortiz is a childhood trauma survivor. Her experiences of chronic neglect, physical, mental, and sexual abuse have provided her with a unique opportunity to embark on a personal journey of healing. Through this transformative process, she has gained a profound understanding of the complexities and far-reaching impacts of trauma, as well as the incredible power of healing.

Zina founded the Elephant in The Room group psychotherapy practice where she specializes in the treatment of Complex Trauma, Anxiety and Depression.

Without shaming, blaming, magnifying, or minimizing the main challenge Zina’s goals as a psychotherapist are based on the belief that people want to be happy, effective and successful in their lives and they have within themselves the resources to achieve these goals.
